About you

As one of the world’s top ten tyre manufacturers, Cooper Tires continually produces results as a forward thinking company that demands the best performance from both its products and its people. An opportunity has become available to work within the Customer Services Department. Reporting to the General Manager of Customer Services, you will be highly self motivated; a team player who can add value, with an excellent work ethic.

What you will be doing:

  • Set and agree pricing strategies when negotiating the core commodity demands
  • Provide effective customer service and sales support

  • Maximising sales opportunities

  • Grow E-commerce business 

  • Use initiative and proactive sales techniques to promote sales growth

  • Receiving and processing of sales orders & provide first class account management – developing positive relations with customers

  • Accurate processing of orders using in house systems & follow up delivery arrangements

  • Contact customers to promote sales through proactive initiatives

  • Be dedicated point of contact for UK sales manager and customer base

  • Ensure smooth running of customer accounts and actively improve service to customers

Key skills & competencies

  • Effective communication (all media)
  • Professional & proactive
  • Efficient with ability to prioritise

  • Maths GCSE Grade A-C

  • English GCSE Grade A-C

  • Previous Customer Service – sales order processing experience

  • Reliable and demonstrate enthusiasm to learn


  • Proactives sales training 
  • Key account management 
  • Development of e-commerce
  • Leadership experience and/or ability to speak a foreign language (French/Italian – German)
